Quick overview

PRP at a glance

Platelet-rich plasma is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets and their growth factors. It is then applied to the skin, often with microneedling, to support collagen and skin renewal. Colette will talk you through exactly how your treatment is done before you start.

Is PRP right for you?

Before treatment, Colette reviews your health history and medications, and may defer treatment if you are pregnant or nursing, have a blood or platelet disorder, take blood thinners, or have active cold sores or a skin infection in the area. Skin is usually pink for a day or two, and bruising can occur where blood is drawn. Call the studio at (480) 935-6775 if you have any concerns after your visit.
