Treatment

Safety first
Is lip filler right for you?
Before anything is injected, Colette reviews your health history and goals, and may defer treatment, for example if you are pregnant or nursing or have an active infection or cold sore where the filler would go. Swelling, bruising and tenderness are common for a few days. Rare but serious risks include filler entering a blood vessel, which can affect the skin or vision and needs urgent care. Call the studio at (480) 935-6775 straight away if you notice unusual pain, skin colour changes or vision changes after your visit. If you get cold sores, tell us at booking, as lip treatment can trigger one.
Questions
Asked and answered
Will my lips look natural?
That is the aim. Colette works with your proportions and adds filler gradually, and you can always build up over more than one visit.
How uncomfortable is it?
Lips are sensitive, so numbing is used first, and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic. Most people find it very manageable.
How long will the swelling last?
Swelling is usually most noticeable for the first two to three days and settles over about two weeks. Book at least two weeks before an event.
What is the difference between Mini lip plump and lip filler?
Mini lip plump & gloss uses half a syringe for a little boost and hydration. Lip filler is a full treatment for shape, volume and definition. Colette will recommend the one that suits your goals.
How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler usually lasts around 6 to 12 months, depending on the product and how your body breaks it down.
What if I do not like the result?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved. Call the studio at (480) 935-6775, and a touch up or review is available 2 to 3 weeks after your treatment, starting at $50.
Who will perform my treatment?
Colette assesses and performs every treatment herself.
