Safety first
Are PDO threads right for you?
Before treatment, Colette reviews your health history and goals, and may defer treatment if you are pregnant or nursing or have a skin infection in the area. Tell us about any blood thinners, as they increase bruising. Bruising, swelling and tenderness are common for a few days, and a thread can occasionally be felt under the skin. Call the studio at (480) 935-6775 if you notice increasing pain, redness or swelling after your visit.

Do PDO threads lift the face?
Smooth threads are used to improve skin quality and fine lines rather than to lift. Colette will tell you honestly what they can and cannot do for you.
How uncomfortable is it?
Most people feel pressure and a little stinging. Colette will talk you through how she keeps you comfortable.
When will I see results?
Results build gradually over the following weeks and months as new collagen forms.
How long do the threads last?
The threads dissolve over several months, and the collagen they stimulate can last longer. Colette will suggest when to review.
How are threads different from filler?
Filler restores volume straight away. Smooth threads stimulate collagen over time to firm the skin. Some plans use both.
What if this is my first treatment?
Book the New Patient Consult/Treatment, which is an hour so there is time to talk through your goals and options. If you would rather talk first, a $50 consultation is credited toward any service or product.
