Quick overview
Botox at a glance
Botox and the other wrinkle reducers relax the muscles that fold the skin, softening lines in the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Colette, RN BSN, assesses and treats you herself, and your first visit includes a consultation. Most people have little to no downtime.

Softening starts around day 3, settles by day 14 and lasts about 3 to 4 months.
From $11 per unit

What to expect
Before, during and after
Consultation
We talk goals, health history and what you do not want to look like, then decide together whether Botox is right for you.
Preparation
I map your face, take photos and write the plan down, including what I would skip and why.
Treatment
Unhurried placement and a mirror check at every stage. Usually about 20 minutes, and questions are welcome throughout.
Aftercare
Written aftercare to take home, a touch up at two to three weeks if you need one, and a direct line to me with any concerns.
Safety first
Is Botox right for you?
Before anything is injected, Colette reviews your health history and goals, and may defer treatment, for example if you are pregnant or nursing or have a skin infection where the injections would go. Botox can cause serious side effects, including problems swallowing, speaking or breathing and spread of toxin effects. Tell us about your medications and any previous treatment, and call the studio at (480) 935-6775 if you have concerns after your visit.
Questions
Asked and answered
Will I still be able to make facial expressions?
Yes. Colette doses low and places Botox to soften movement lines, not freeze your face, so you still look like you.
How uncomfortable are the injections?
Most people describe a quick pinch. Appointments are unhurried and we pause whenever you ask.
How far ahead of an event should I schedule?
Softening starts around day 3 and settles by day 14, so book at least two weeks ahead. A touch up is available 2 to 3 weeks after treatment if anything needs fine-tuning.
What if this is my first treatment?
Book the New Patient Consult/Treatment, which is an hour so there is time to talk through your goals and options. If you would rather talk first, a $50 consultation is credited toward any service or product.
How is Botox different from dermal filler?
Botox relaxes the muscles that fold the skin, which softens movement lines. Filler restores volume and structure. Many plans use a little of each, and Colette will tell you which concern needs which.
What if I have concerns about my results?
Call the studio at (480) 935-6775. A touch up is available 2 to 3 weeks after your first treatment, starting at $50, and Colette will review your results with you.
Who will perform my treatment?
Colette, RN BSN, assesses and performs every treatment herself.
