Wrinkle Reducers/Neuromodulators

The first signs of aging are often wrinkles around your eyes, forehead, cheeks, and lips. Wrinkles are a normal feature of the human face. But many  feel wrinkles make them look tired/older. 

To reduce the appearance of wrinkles, some choose injections (shots) of botulinum toxin. These injections are often called by their brand names, such as Botox®, Dysport® , Xeomin®  & Daxxify. The injections relax certain muscles in the face, and certain wrinkles become less noticeable for a period of time.

Treatment temporarily paralyzes muscles to treat certain muscles to stop sweat.

This is a widely recognized treatment for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating). To treat severe underarm sweating, Botox, Xeomin or Dysport works by blocking the secretion of the chemical that activates sweat glands. During the procedure, your provider will inject Botox, Xeomin or Dysport into each armpit. The more  injected, the longer the drying effects tend to last.  *According to the International Hyperhidrosis Society, underarm Botox injections can reduce underarm sweating by 82–87%. The effects can typically last 4–12 months, or up to 14 months in some cases. People who receive underarm Botox injections tend to see results 2–4 days after treatment.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face.  As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat. The facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow's feet become more apparent.  The facial skin also stretches a bit, adding to this loss of facial volume. Other factors that affect the facial skin include sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle.

Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are thinner-than-hair medical grade absorbable threads that lift and tighten sagging skin tissues. Once the threads are inserted, the skin looks rejuvenated, filled and lifted.  

The PDO Thread is inserted into the subdermal tissue for temporary support of the area being treated. Over the next 6 months, the PDO threads dissolve creating collagen, elastic and hyaluronic acid. The skin becomes thicker, tighter and smoother giving a more youthful look. 

The PDO threads dissolve after six to nine months, but their effects can last up to two years, thanks to the production of collagen.
